‘The Lounge’ Fashion shoot.

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

In a previous post I mentioned that after photographing Michelle’s wedding at Gosfield Hall, we have since worked together on a number of projects.  Michelle is the owner of ‘The Lounge’ hair salon in Brentwood (and was voted “the Nation’s Favourite Hairdresser 2008″!).  Our latest project was creating some fashion shots of her hair designs for the national hairdressing awards.  www.theloungebrentwood.co.uk

Michelle & Steve’s Wedding at Gosfield Hall

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

Michelle and Steve had a classic and elegant wedding at the stunning Gosfield Hall.  The theme was Black & White with touches of champagne.  Gosfield Hall is such a pleasure to photograph at.  Not only is it opulent, it is spotlessly clean and the staff are super-efficient!  Michelle and Steve were great fun and Michelle never seemed to stop laughing all day.  Michelle owns the fab hair salon ‘The Lounge’ in Brentwood and we have now worked together on several fashion shoots.

Kelly & James Wedding at Braxted Park

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

Kelly & James were recently married at Braxted Park.  It is a gorgeous spring day and perfect for the soft green and butterfly theme.  There were games on the lawn and and a bucking bronco in the evening as a fun added touch.  Braxted park is a wonderful wedding venue.  The Orangery is a light and airy ceremony room, the walled garden makes for an intimate drinks reception and then grounds are perfect for wedding photography.

Film Work -Exciting Updates

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

Some of you may know that around this time last year I worked on a couple of short films as the stills photographer.  It was a fantastic experience not only to see how films are made but to challenge me creatively.

I was lucky enough to work with some incredibly talented people and both films have been extremely well received and are BOTH premiering at Cannes Film Festival - yes, THE Cannes Film Festival.

AFTER TOMORROW

The first film I worked on was After Tomorrow a moving thriller/drama with a brilliant twist at the end.  It was produced by my good friend Annalise Davies and directed & written by Emma Sullivan.  This film is one of only 9 films up for a Palme d’Or in the short film category.  It starred two renowned actors Kika Makham and Joseph Mawle who were stunning to watch on set, surrounded by crew and yet transforming into their characters.

Below are some still from the film along with some behind the scenes shots.

TENNER

Tenner was the second film I worked on with the wonderful writer/director David O’Neil.   Tenner is a modern and moving drama, again with a great twist in the tale. This film has been picked up by the Canadian Film Board and will be at Cannes on a public Utube vote, the film can be seen and voted for here http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&v=mQsnwSjTewo

The two starring actors were Bronson Webb, fresh from the set of Batman and the exquisite legend of the West End, Barry Martin.  Both were wonderful to work with and outstanding actors.
