Lucy & James - Stockbrook Manor Wedding

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

Lucy was one of those fabulous brides who was not nervous and really let her personality come through in the pictures.  Even when she left the page-boy’s suit behind and there was a last minute dash to retrieve it, it never flustered her. - she just giggled and I got some great shots!  A good lesson that on all weddings there are sometimes small hiccups, but it still doesn’t have to ruin your day!

Lucy and James were married at the charming St Mary the Virgin Church in Great Warley.   It is a turn of the century church with strong influences from the Arts and Crafts movement.  The gardens are wonderful for pictures too.  We then went onto Stockbrook Manor.  The staff at Stockbrook Manor are excellent and there are some great spots for wedding photography.

Brentwood Centre Sports Photography Exhibiton

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

Last year I was commissioned to photograph some of the events at the Brentwood centre, again, it was a chance to see things that I would not normally see………I have to say, being a few feet way from huge cage-fighters, boxers or American Wrestlers in action was not something I ever thought I would experience!  So if you are ever over at the Brentwood Centre, check out the newly revamped stage bar and see 12 of my images adorning the walls!

Eleanor & Russell - Caledonian Club

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

One of the things I love about my job is that it often gives the opportunity to visit places that I would not normally get to go.  Eleanor & Russell’s London wedding was one of those.

The ceremony was at the oldest Catholic church in London, St Etheldreda’s.  It was a stunning church and one that had great atmosphere.  The St Etheldreda’s choir sung several songs and the sounds of the nine voices filling the entire church was just incredible.  The reception was held at the Caledonian Club in Belgravia, and after a delicious dinner and speeches, the evening entertainment was a fabulous Ceilidh band which had everyone up dancing.

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

Gemma & Ian had a fabulous wedding at Vaulty Manor in Maldon, Essex,  and is proof that with a bit or perseverance and the internet a complete wedding can be arranged from Australia in only 3 months!  Gemma looked amazing in her gorgeous gown from House of Couture.  Gemma’s wedding colour theme was a pretty sage green and the wedding cake was just stunning
